Small Appliances
โFirst, we'll start with a few of our favorite kitchen appliances.
- Immersion blender - This is the kind of equipment I don't use often, but when I need it, I'm so glad I have it. It makes blending soup so easy. Without one you have to transfer hot liquid batches at a time to the blender, and that can get messy. To make it an even more special gift, you could print a few recipes that use an immersion blender and include those with the gift, like this Instant Pot Tomato Soup.
- Instant pot - It's an intimidating machine, at first, but over the past couple of years I have grown to love this counter top wonder for all it can do. This would be a particularly good gift for new parents needing a way to make quick, nutritious meals.
- Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer - When shopping for stand mixers you want quality and one that looks great on your kitchen counter. This one made our list of the best kitchen gifts because it delivers on both.
- Blendtec Blender - I can't say enough about my Blendtec Blender and I love the Twister jar option. Smoothies are an anchor habit at our house, and I have shared several of my favorite smoothie recipes here.
Fun Kitchen Gadgets
For the person who has all of the kitchen basics, try one of these more unique and affordable gift ideas.
- Thermometer - A great addition to your grilling tools is this meat thermometer. It can withstand high heat and has two thermometers that can be used simultaneously. I really like that you can actually leave this one in your meat, on the grill.
- Box grater- One of my most-used tools that comes in handy for so many different recipes. One that immediately comes to mind is this Hidden Honey Snack Bar recipe.
- Vegetable peeler - This is one of the most-used tools, and these are the best peelers, hands down. Don't fall for more expensive ones! These are a great price point, come in different colors, and the ergonomic direction of these is so perfect. The home cook will get daily use out of these, making them the perfect kitchen gift.
- Magnetic spice jars - I love sticking these right to the side of my fridge for easy access of my favorite spices.
Other Great Kitchen Gifts
Enjoy this assortment of kitchen tools that any home cook would love to have on their holiday gift list!
- Meal Spice Kits - I have tried several different seasoning blends and they are delicious. These would make a fun stocking-stuffer.
- Baking Pan - Perhaps the most used item in the kitchen, and this will not disappoint.
- High heat glove Everyone who grills needs a good glove or mitt like this one.
- Copper metal pie pan - One of the best cooking gifts that will stand the test of time.
- Meal planning/grocery list pad - This is my favorite one and would be a fun gift addition.
- Burger press - We bought this for my son's science project but it's all I use now for the perfect size burgers.
- Easy Cooking For Two Cookbook - Whether gifting for a newly married, an empty nester, or anything in between, this cookbook will help them discover how simple it can be to cut down on endless leftovers while whipping up quick and healthy meals in a flash. Easy Cooking for Two will help home chefs of all skill levels get two portions on the table with delicious recipes to suit a broad range of tastes and palates. You'll also be gifting plenty of shopping advice for navigating the grocery store and stocking a kitchen for two.
Best Gifts for Women 40 and Up
Here I've compiled some of my very favorite gifts and hope you'll use this list whenever you need a special gift for Mother's Day, birthdays, or the Christmas holiday season.
- BCAA - My favorite pre-workout supplement for women.
- Gracelaced Devotional - My favorite devotional from the year. It speaks to the seasons of the soul, perfect for women in a time or change or transition.
- Insect Trap - A permanent, chemical free option for getting rid of bugs in your backyard. Yes, please!
- Compact portable battery - This one is for iPhones and is good for 1.5 charges. I love how small it is and doesn't require any cords. Perfect stocking stuffer.
- Puzzle Saver - We are puzzlers in our house but they can take up too much space on the table. There are times when I don't want to lock in the dining table forever. This ideal gift is a great way to save space by just tucking it under the bed when you need the table space.
- Flip Belt - A great gift for runners. I finally got back to longer-distance running this year and loved this great quality hydration belt.
Clothing Gift Ideas
- Sleeveless Dress - This dress is super flattering and super comfortable. I needed a quick cocktail dress for a wedding recently and this delivered!
- Stitch Fix Gift Card - Stitch Fix is online styling service that sends you a box of 5 fashion items, based on your style and budget preferences. You keep what you like and send back what you don't like with free shipping. I don't consider myself very fashion savvy so this service gave me items that I would've never picked for myself and therefore love. This is a great gift for the time-pressed fashion lover, someone who needs some assistance picking clothes or anyone who just likes clothes.
- Short Sleeve Blouse - This top is very flattering and very comfortable. I love all the colors and will likely buy more than the yellow one I've worn so much.
