This year I’ve tried some new products in food, supplements, jewelry, and fashion. Some I have loved, some I just liked, and other were not winners, for me. Here’s a list of things I'm trying out and whether or not I recommend you do too.
This post contains affiliate links and is partially sponsored by Koochikoo Lollipops who sent me free samples. The majority of these products I bought with my own money to test out unbiased
Rothy's Shoes
Rothy's are women's shoes, flats to be specific, that are made from recycled water bottles. I immediately loved the eco-friendliness of them, but I really was after finding a comfortable, stylish flat. After seeing this ad pop up a few times, I messaged a friend I thought had a pair. She immediately sang their praises and told me I must try them.
Why was I so hesitant? Well, they are pricey my friends. $120 pricey. She offered me a coupon (which I will offer to you too) so that helped, but they are still no cheap chicken.
Friends, as an owner of not one, but two pairs of Rothy's, I can confirm these shoes are 100% worth the price. They are so freaking comfortable (like wear all day comfortable), super cute, and you can wash them in the washing machine. You heard me right. I've washed my pair already and they are just as perfect as the first time I wore them.
I own a the Flax Birdseye, which goes with EVERYTHING, and the Lemondrop, because yellow shoes are my thing. I do not own a pair of the points or loafers, but I hear they are just as fantastic. They also have a new sneaker out which I would love to have as well. Really, I would take one in every color. Get my drift? They are freaking awesome.

Koochikoo Lollipops
Every Halloween I'm on the hunt for new, natural candy options. While we certainly indulge in the normal Halloween candy fair, every once in a while a new option catches my attention. This year I discovered Koochikoo Lollipops, a no-sugar-added, organic candy with no artificial colors or sweeteners. What's even crazier is these lolly's contain fiber!
How can this be, you ask? Koochikoo Lollipops are made with naturally sweet tapioca fiber. This allows them to not need any other source of sweetener to make them taste great. One pop is only 10 calories and contains 5 grams of fiber. Plus, these pops are gluten free, made in a facility that is gluten, dairy, and nut free, vegan, Kosher and non-GMO. Therefore this could be an option for those kiddos with food allergies. It almost seems too good to be true.
Koochikoo Lollipops come in 4 natural flavors: Pineapple Orange, Fuji Apple, Blueberry Lemon, and Pomegranate Berry. Buy them on Amazon and make them apart of your Halloween trick-or-treating plan.
Vital Proteins
Recently I published this article all about collagen supplements that you should definitely read. I mention that I’ve been trying collagen powder from Vital Proteins, an online collagen supplement company. I really like this brand and their offerings. The product itself is stellar and after trying another brand of collagen, am pretty committed to it. Buy it here.
Enlightened Roasted Broad Bean Snacks
These snacks are amazing! I discovered them at a job site and became obsessed. They satisfy the need for a crunchy, salty snack. You can easily get a variety pack on Amazon. Keep your eye on it because the price drops regularly.
Lisa Leonard Stacking Rings
Lisa Leonard jewelry caught my eye on Facebook many years ago. I loved the rustic look of some of the jewelry and like so many items were personalized. Through the years I’ve bought Christmas ornaments, bracelets, necklaces, and rings for myself, friends, and family members. I love them all.
Recently I bought 3 personalized stacking rings engraved some words that have become really important to me. I absolutely love these and it’s a constant reminder of what is most important to me. If you have a word or name that is really meaningful, get them engraved on these rings.
Almond Oil for body lotion with essential oils
I’ve experimented with using different oils for lotion and just haven’t landed on one that I like, until now. I picked up this almond oil on Prime Day for a great deal, and it honestly sat in my bathroom unopened for 2 months. Recently however, I’ve been experimenting with topical essential oils to try to reduce my sciatic pain. I needed a carrier oil and tried out this essential oil. This almond oil has been perfect. It absorbs really nicely and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. It’s a great carrier oil for essential oils and I love that it comes with a pump top. I highly recommend!
JaneHudson Gameday Clothes
If you follow me on Instagram you know during the fall I love #GameDayStyle for Coach’s games. I’m always on the hunt for really cute, comfortable maroon and gold clothing. This summer I discovered JaneHudson, a NY clothing company that makes the most adorable gameday clothes. Their focus is on colleges in the Southeast like FSU (Go Noles!), Florida, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Clemson. The great thing about them is that their clothes are mostly generic colors and not school branded.I now own 3 pieces (which I bought myself): the Mary Racerback dress, the t-shirt dress, and the Georgia Ruched skirt.

Regardless if you want school colored clothes or not, these pieces are comfortable and well made. I am now an ambassador for them which means I get to share a discount with my friends (that’s you) and get a small kick back from sales. Use this link to their website and use the code JENNA for 15% off your order.
Goodr Sunglasses
One day at the pool this summer, I was sitting with my mom friends watching our kids play in the kiddie pool. One of my girlfriends pulled out these super cute, brightly colored glasses that looked amazing on her. When she said they were $25 and polarized, I whipped out my phone to immediately look them up. I ordered a pair of Goodr glasses on the spot.
I’ve been wearing Goodr glasses since this summer and am 50/50 about them. I do love how they look and all the color choices. They are also fairly comfortable and lightweight. I don’t love that the fact that don’t wrap all the way around your eyes, so light comes in from the sides. However, for $25, I think it’s well worth it. I keep mine in my gym bag and it’s perfect for outdoor workouts or any activity outside where you don’t want to wear your super nice sunnies. They also have a new style that I oh so tempted to try.
Third Love
Third Love is an online bra company that claims to be the best thing since sliced bread for your ta-ta's. I am not 100% content with my current bra situation so I investigated what the company had to offer. After taking the quiz, I was told that I'm actually a half size (which was actually good news) and should try their Classic T-Shirt Bra. I was excited that this company had thought of details like no-slip straps and being tag free because I've had these issues with other bras. I also ordered the 24/7 Strapless Lace Bra because I am definitely still on the hunt for THE perfect strapless bra.
Guys, I wanted to love to love these bras so bad. They were extremely comfortable. I loved how they felt but my problem came in how they looked on my body. They were not flattering. I've nursed 2 babies and these bras did nothing to help me feel sexy and perky. I tried to make these work but they just didn't do it for me. I sent them back, sadly. I think I might try another style again in the future because they continue to get good reviews from others. You might want to give them a try too. Returning my items was very easy.
Have you tried anything new lately that I need to know about? Leave a comment and let me know.
